Kartboy Exhaust Hanger Disintegration!
My B13 has been sitting in the garage, under a cover for about four years now...
Looking at the car today I noticed my muffler was hanging very low. Upon closer inspection I noticed that my Kartboy exhaust hangers just disintegrated and snapped. WTF???

Anyone else have this happen?
What hangers are you using?

I believe @BenFenner had a similar problem. I personally installed Circuit Motorsports on mine and so far no problems, so we'll see.

I had another brand poly hanger tear apart when i was trying to re-install my exhaust. They were only a year old.

I went back to OEM inserts after those kartboy failures.

I only use OEM...and I've never had an issue.

Yep, mine lasted 5-6 years or so before failure (all of them at once it seems). I replaced them with the same Kart-Boy hangers.

It's unfortunate that Kartboy polyurethane exhaust hanger have a shelf life.

I used cheap autozone ones. No sag and been on over 3 years, 3" and 2 resonators.

Nismo hangers on my ride. IIRC installed in 2007'ish.

I don't honestly know if they are polyurethane or just a harder compound rubber(?).

I do know they add 5 whp per hanger. Because Nismo.
