Question about TOB arm seal
So I replaced my axle seal, spoed sensor, check everything out, and went to swap the arm out of the old tranny into the newer one. Where the arm goes through the case there is a seal/bushing piece missing in the new tranny. Ive been looking at FSM diagrams and don't see the piece listed. I have another busted tranny with the thing intact, but I don't know how to get it out. If someone could give me some pointers or let me know if it would be possible to remove it and reinstall it, that would be awesome.

I drank a beer and looked at it some more, after cleaning it off I notice that the bushing could be knocked out from the back. I was beating on the wrong part, there's a sleeve below it that is not part of the seal, and doesn't move. Tapping the seal, it came right out.

+1 for morning beer.

I re-read it a few times and still don't understand where you are talking about and I want to know. Care to explain it differently to help me understand more, please?

Alright, where the shaft goes through the bell housing, below where the clutch cable hooks up, there's a little bushing/seal thing that the shaft goes through. It sits in a little cup. I'll take a picture if you want.
