i pulled the A/C off my 93 an i highly doubt it was R134a. iirc the lines had the retro fitting on them so it was all r12 parts. scotty. before your buy those parts please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! find a pic of a 1.6 engine bay to see if the lines are routed the same way, or call a nissan dealership and see if the lines and comp are the same part number. if not DO NOT GET THEM!

i am A/C certified so i got ya covered homey and the machine they have out there has high/low gauges, vacuum pump, recover

people have used the 1.6 instead of the 2.0 for downpipe clearance

ok cool, i was unaware of this. what about the lines as well? are the lines routed the same? because the gay16 and sr valve covers are very very different size wise, something tells me the lines are much different. however, out of all the componants to swap for a full r12 to 134 retrofit i think keeping the old lines and tossing some retro fittings on the old lines.

Great... This may actually work! !

Well, Im getting the Lines too.. If they do not work, then I'll just keep my old lines. I have the retro-fitting kit already but never installed it... The main thing was the Evaporator, Bottle, Condensor, and Compressor.

So Keo, the 1.6 piping is different but are the main components above the same? If so, Am I good then?

AC in my Egg again... A very good thing..

I will probably come up on Friday again. If not, I will come up on Sat to help out with the Swap... (for non-mechanical, electrical stuff )
