Thread: Would anyone be interested in solid aluminum motor mounts?

Took some time due to weather being cold as f**k. I should have the finish products by Monday/Tuesday

^ looks like you are going the same route we did (post #13).... We've been using ours since 2008 FWIW HOWEVER we ONLY have the crossmember front and rear solid aluminum and left the rest factory rubber (meaning the passenger and trans mount are NOT solid)

Wait, you have no crossmember? ...so your engine is being held up by 1 motor mount and 1 trans mount ONLY? What happened to your crossmember?

I have a bar/tube that runs from side to side on the back of the chassis then there's a brace that bolts on that bar to the motor that anchors the motor from back and forward movements.
