Not Sure Which Part # For Motor/Transmission Mount Bolt...Please Help
Hey Guys,

I had a pretty bad mechanic work on my car and I'm paying the price for it. He reinstalled my transmission, but a bolt he used looks to be sticking out way more than it should so I think it's the wrong size or he just didn't bother tightening it all the way. I don't know if it's considered a transmission or engine mount since it looks to be attached to the transmission also. The mount is located above the passenger side drive axle. I called Infiniti and gave them the location of the mount and they gave me 11298-2J200 or 01125-03281 as the part numbers. They gave me the part #'s for 2 different mounts just in case one of them was wrong. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? If not, please let me know which mount that is considered so that I can call Infiniti and verify the part #'s.

This is for my MT 99 G20T

Thank you!!

I believe that the mounts on my P11T are different than a SE-R, so the location would be different. Correct me if im wrong.

Thank you!!

Best advice I have is to call Greg V at G Spec Performance and have him maybe e-mail you a parts diagram and you can figure out what part number you need. Or get someone else with access to FAST parts diagrams and have them do the same.

Your right. Didn't catch that.I haven't found a good resource for Infiniti part blow ups yet. If you come across one, post it. You can head over to G20.net - Forums.

Your other option is to find a local hardware supply store and get the correct metric bolt(s). You could bring one of the other bolts to make sure you get the right diameter and thread. Buy a few lengths and use the one that makes sense.
