I can't believe I've never noticed this. Does anyone know if VE rods have these as well? I'll check my set when I get up to the shop.

What aftermarket rods are known to have these "oil squirters"?

Last I saw on those 4G64 engines. The oil squirters are on the casing. Not on the rods. That's something like a bearing oiler

Carillo will add them.
I found this doing some research about running aftermarket rods. I'm fairly confident based on carillos rod tech specs that we can run with just the piston oil squirters.
