True. When the stud snapped there were no simple solutions so welding seemed like a good way to fix the problem and upgrade the front end at the same time, which would give me a good excuse to upgrade the rear.
I have a Progress rear sway bar I still need to install and adjust. I already had some of the original Truaxmotorsports sub-frame braces welded in and front fender braces welded in, before I broke the stud. The sub frame braces made a difference in the rear too, so the understeer is not as bad as you would imagine, less understeer than stock.
You reminded me I should stop procrastinating and work on handling again.
