On the plus side it definitely tightened the front end.

plus and minus. steering and control will be tighter but handling is slightly made worse (more understeer is now induced)

True. When the stud snapped there were no simple solutions so welding seemed like a good way to fix the problem and upgrade the front end at the same time, which would give me a good excuse to upgrade the rear.

I have a Progress rear sway bar I still need to install and adjust. I already had some of the original Truaxmotorsports sub-frame braces welded in and front fender braces welded in, before I broke the stud. The sub frame braces made a difference in the rear too, so the understeer is not as bad as you would imagine, less understeer than stock.

You reminded me I should stop procrastinating and work on handling again.
