Ummm, or the 50 pound bag of mortar and mixing pan I forgot was in the trunk. :o

@Nitelife hooked me up with 2 solenoids, one being fairly new. When the weather cooperates I'm going to replace the EGR purge solenoid and see what that gets me...

I installed the newish EGR purge solenoid and no change, still very weak vacuum coming from it. One thing I did notice with the intake air tube off the TB was a lovely, thick ring of black shit around the throttle plate and inside the TB. I'm thinking that this black tar is clogging the vacuum tube to the EGR purge solenoid, which appears to be just aft the throttle plate inside the TB. Time for a good TB cleaning regardless if this is the culprit or not...
