Yeah, I know lol. So I got around to fixing it today and I was right....I was able to slide it out with one finger very easily. I managed to find the seal at another auto parts store and it looked identical. You said to make sure the seal is flush with the casing. The seal is a hard rubber ring along with a lip that protrudes a little...so I squeezed the ring part in to try and keep it flush with the casing the best I could. I ran my finger all the way around to make sure that it was pretty flush before reinstalling the axle. The lip part that sticks out of the seal is not the part that needed to be flush, correct? I figured that if I pushed any further so that the lip part is flush with the casing I would have put the seal too far in.

I parked my car and waited for about 30 minutes and I saw only a drop of oil, but compared to how much it dripped before it was nothing. I cleaned the part it was dripping down from and went back inside for another 30 minutes and came out to check and it didn't look like it was dripping anymore. I just hope that I put the seal in correctly so I don't need to remove my axle again and redo it.

Thank you again for all the help!!

From your description, the seal sounds to be installed correctly. Here is a diagram from the FSM.

use rtv around the seal while installing. this allows the seal to slide and allows you to reposition the seal if its in too far.
