Thread: Auto tps probe

Ive seen how to check the tps to check your ohms but everything is for manual and i have automatic... i cant find my haynes manual or my toolset along with it but i do have a multimeter and paperclip to backprobe, problem is i dont know which wire. Its a 97 se-r and from the wires coming straight from the tps, top to bottom: red grey white yellow green blue. Which do i neef to probe and what ohms, 5.2? Just cleaned the iacv so itll kinda let me move the tps anywhere really but id like to have it dialed in correctly, thanks in advance

plug in consult and see what the ecu is telling you and go by voltage because that's what the ecu is looking at.

Consult? And still dont know which wire to probe... i guess ur talkin bout a kind of obd2 scanner? I can go by advanced or autozone but thats bout the only scan tool i can use for free...
