Thread: 96 SE-R not holding Battery Charge

Could a loose/damaged terminal cause the lights to come on also? I have a similar issue, and have replaced the belt, alternator, and battery (as did previous owner) and have no idea why it's not holding a charge.

And yes, I don't think the belts should rub dood.

Yeah the alternater piece comes loose and burns up

So A buddy of mine mentioned something about a tensioner....Could this have any effect on the belts rubbing or the alternator not holding a charge? Just throwing some ideas out.
