Can This Part Of My Transmission Be Repaired?
Hey guys,

My 99 P11 transmission is in a shop along with a 94 SE-R transmission which is going to have its gears transferred into my case, but when I dropped off my transmission we noticed some scarring/scraping. Can this be repaired or can it be left alone? It's at a transmission shop right now and they are going to have their master builder look at it to see what can be done.

It's hard to see in this picture, but the damage is on the bottom left right around the whole opening where the things that look like bearings are.

Thank you!!

I've done plenty of research on this and you have it backwards. The 94 SE-R gears are going into my P11 and from what I have read the gears are interchangeable in my P11 with any 91-99 SR20 powered Nissan.

A thread I made in regards to swapping internals from a 94

Why not just drop the B14 in and convert it to HYD?

Is the only difference between a B14 and 99 P11 trans the fact that the B14 trans is cable and the P11 tranny is hydraulic?

Would a B14 tranny be a straight swap or would I need to make any modifications?

Thank you!!

a B14 Trans will not be a straight drop in on Your P11... the mounting points for the front transmission mount Is different... however you should be able to use the gear stacks of the 94 on your p11 casingS as you said... as For the OP, Can't really tell what you are talking about... try to snap a better shot...

you could also use the cover casing from The P11 Trans on the 94 Trans.... then your 94 Trans will bolt right up to your p11... just remember to use the oiler for the p11 case on the 94 Trans since they both use a different one...

Which part is the cover casing and oiler? Would the sensors be a problem if I do this? Are there pics in the FSM showing the oiler?

Thank you!!

by casing cover I mean the top cover that goes over the gear stacks and mates to the bellhousing... the oiler is the yellowish looking Plastic piece that attaches to the cover and oils the gears and bearings.. you should have no problems with the sensors.. I'm not too sure if the FSM shows the oiler, but I'm pretty sure it does..
