Tomei valve springs are shorter?
Just bought this tomei poncams of a guy, and surprise surprise it came with springs, they are painted red in the bottom, i assume their tomei... but comparing to stock, they´re shorter...

Is this from another variation SR20? I´m comparing to a EUDM 10:1 highport. I know for a fact that gtir springs are double and shorter, so there might be another sr20 variations.

Thanks guys already found my answers... aftermarket free height may difer from stock free height... doesn´t mean thay don´t work... guess it´s to avoid coil bind... longer would be tougher to get higher lift without binding.

In fact cosworth springs are 3+mm shorter then stock. Cosworth 20000168 High RPM Single Valve Spring Set (16) Nissan SR20DET (2.0L), stock free height is 49.36mm.

same idea with lowering springs. a stiffer spring will exert more force upon compression so it does not have to be the same length as oem. run it and gun it, bud.
