Thread: 96 engine harness on 98 chassis

i have a 98 b14 with a VE, currently using a modified ga16 harness with a 96 jwt ecu. i have a 95-96 sr harness i want to use but obviously not all body plugs match with the harness. has anyone modified either the harness or body connectors in this situation to make the harness work?

It is possible, I put an OBDI harness in my B14. Just look up the wires from each car and swap over the connectors. You could have more wires on the 98 side but if the 96 does not have them dont worry about it, just leave them out.
