How to properly store an engine
Hey, I plan on building a stock DE and keeping it as a back-up for if I ever need to do major engine work on my current motor and don't want much down-time. However, I've never stored an engine before and want to make sure there's not going to be any down side to it sitting in the garage for years in between use. I've seen Summit Racing sells a plastic-type wrap/cover for engines on a stand to keep moisture out. Is there any type of solution I should fill the cylinders with to avoid it seizing up? Or anything else I should do/consider?
