No power to ignitor...
Well, I've been battling this piece of shit for a few days now and figured I throw up a thread. I have gone over all relays, fuses, etc. Car is on an AEM EMS Series 2.

Basically not getting any spark. Tried two different distributors, 2 ignitors (power transistors), and 2 coils. Checked/cleaned/added grounds. Brand spankin new battery. ECU grounds are on clean and tight. No cuts in the harness that I can see minus the O2 sensor plug being cut off. I'm out of ideas and losing hope/patience.

Pulled out my cheap harbor freight volt meter and coil/distributor are both getting power. The wires to the ignitor however are not. I'm currently here chain smoking looking for breaks in the harness but figured I see if anyone else has an idea. Any help is appreciated.

Looks like I will be sitting out another convention.

This is dumb, and I saw you said you checked fuses, how about the Engine Control fuse in the cabin, it's a 10A, I've had that go out on me and went nuts til I found it

Checked and it was good. Currently tracing the yellow/red and white wires from the clip back into the cabin for any breaks. Neither have power. Getting nervous its my ecu and if it is a part out will be coming.

Did you happen to hear a "buzzing" sound down by the ECU at all lately?

Will it throw codes (if any) or the 5,5 or whatever for all clear?

No buzzing noises or anything like that. Didn't cross any wires. No codes that I'm aware of. Car is on a standalone Ecu, all sensors are working as they should.

Changed the pin out for power to coil number 2 and it is now giving power to the plug. Battery died as I was cranking to check for spark. Maybe can bring life to it tomorrow.
