Could, and opening myself to criticism here, could the front springs be too soft and or the front too low? Are your shafts as 90 to the vertical axis as possible?

Tires. What are you running?

Less grippy tires and/or softer/taller sidewalls will hop less than grippy ones with short/stiff sidewalls.

I am running Hypercoil Gen II springs with cusco top hats, so my drop is only like .5 inch in the front. Tires are 205/40r17 Nitto Neogen.

I do not know much about NO2, but I do know you would have to be daft to spray right at launch.

.................. . Not even sure why this is a topic if these issues aren't even addressed yet.........

Anyways...............if its a mostly stock gearbox with a DE/DET/VE setup, there are not too many items in the front end that will cause wheel hop.

I have torn prothane as well as place racing bushings in my dogmount before, so they are NOT exempt from having issues (especially if another member of your suspension and such is compromised). Also, just a quick look will not reveal all unless you jack it up (made that mistake before). Jack it up, grab a pry bar and move around all your joints and bushings. Easy enough to do, and free to diagnose.

Clutch could be it (not even sure what clutch you have, as the ACT was a huge bitch, but the FX500, although it was a 6 spuck unsprung and bit fairly hard, provided a much more defined feeled which allowed me to adjust how smoothly it engaged (fulcrum design, blah blah)). But I would delve into the front end before throwing any money at it.

Good luck!

Looks like I am going to have to throw money at anyway. It seems to have developed a rod knocking sound in the trans, it goes away when the clutch is pressed.

That's probably your throw out bearing

Yep, and torqued them to 65 ft/lb I believe.

If you didn't use a brand new OEM TOB (even a used OEM one), I have a feeling that is the culprit for the noise
