Wheel Hop? Why?
So I have all 4 Prothane mounts, Whiteline LCAB, and Hyperco/AGX combo. I just changed my clutch and went to a 12lb flywheel. I am now experiencing some major wheel hop at launch. Am I missing something? CV's looked good when I pulled them. Could use new tires, but I did not have any hop before I changed the clutch.

Probably messed up reinstalling the driver's side axle or something. Never heard of a light flywheel alone doing that

Axle seems to be good, no clicking so far.

check all your front end bushings, ball joints, wheel bearings etc... maybe add a strut bar.

Traction bars r not for wheel hop they r for stabilizing the control arm from moving front to back not up and down

Variables were introduced into the situation when you put in the new clutch; everything that was disassembled should be looked into. Trace back steps.

Maybe you went from a slipping clutch to a properly engaging clutch? I dunno, just spit-balling now.

Front end bushings are 21 years old and could use some help, ball joint looked good when I removed it... actually all of my bushings need help.
