FYI to all the guys in this is aronx, search the nitrous section and you will see he owns that section. Lol

You have been spraying th ish out of that thing for some time now. Do a full crazy built motor and run a 300hp progressive shot. I would love to see a crazy nitrous sr20 fwd car hang with all the boost junkies.

I'll be watching this thread for pics........ Excited!

awww poopy Aaron Do you remember what your air fuel was or usually is on the NOS?

It's usually in the 12's when spraying. Something went wrong to make that one cylinder burn up, but not the others.

I just have to decide what I want to do now. Definately higher compression, as this setup was only 9.25:1.

Motor took years of abuse though, so I'm not complaining.

Bone stock VE on the hit. Once she goes, 87mm high comp VE on juiceeeeee.

It sucks to hear man but that motor held its own for a while. Time to come back harder.

If I go VE it'll most likely start out forged. I don't want to put it in, and then have to take it right back out lol.

That's more like it!! Bump the comp and bore size really fly

At this point I'm thinking I want to stick with the DE. I've always enjoyed the fact that I made my car fast, with the lowly highport motor, stock intake manifold, and ssac header.

Might just rebuild the bottom end, but so that I could just sway a ve head on it in the future.

Yeah, hopefully not damage to the head/valves. Anyways 87-88mm pistons and your back on the road with even more go Good luck Aaron

Yeah I still don't know about the valves. I pulled everything out of the car Sunday morning, but haven't pulled the head off yet. I'll probably do that tomorrow.

I'm thinking 87mm 11:1 pistons, I just don't know what brand yet. The pistons in it are cp.

@AaroNX when you pull the head if you have any damage and the desire to stay DE hit me up. I have a DPR ported lowport head, along with low mileage (7-8k miles) JWT springs and new (tuning and less than 1k miles) C3 cams sitting here on the shelf. This was the setup that made 180's n/a in Panda last year before I spun mains. It's a VE block that I kept in case I ever wanted to go bigger via bore, but I considered the oil pump as needing replacement. The head is still perfect. I also have the SR16 pistons, but it sounds like you are looking to go forged. If any of these items are of interest deals can be made.
