Fuel tank replacement
So today I wanted to replace my 1.6 fuel pump in my nx because it's obviously not keeping up with my 370cc injectors past 2.5k rpms. Turns out the fuel pump cover(not the chassis cover) is corroded to the point I could remove one bolt, break one, and not get any others to budge. Used plenty of pb blaster and even tried grinding a flat to attack with a larger flathead. would it be probable to grind all the heads off and somehow reattach the cover seal? Or should I replace the whole tank?

I want an idea of how bad it is to swap tanks. I might have a decent one from a shell I have or could possibly pull one from the scrap yard.

They make a tool that when you impact it with a hammer it gives the screw a jolt as it turns, worked really well for me for *some* of these bolts. Depends on how much time you want to spend on this thing - if its as messed up as you say it is, you could swap the pump and then use some windshield sealer/strong seam sealant and reattach the cover, or just do the fuel tank as you suggested. Either way it sounds like the fuel tank will need to come out eventually, just depends if you want to do it now or later.

I don't plan on this shell lasting forever. Someone suggested chiseling the heads off and using sealer and epoxy. I like that idea
