Question for anyone...
How hard do ya think it would be to take the leather from my oem one and wrap it over the Greddy weighted one?
I like the feel of the weighted knob but holy hell it gets hot like I said.

well when the leather on my first se-r's shift knob started to tear at the stiches it actually came off in a nice piece, get someone that can stitch it up nice again into the shape of your knob and glue it on there and i think it would turn out pretty freakin nice.

When i had a metal weighted knob i put a sock on it and it worked out great. but then i got my z32 knob (ANY AND ALL z32 knobs are weighted by about 400g)

i also had a razo 400g but it was to small for my hand and the z32 knob was the perfect shape and weighed the same.

that's the problem with my UPR knob. try painting it white? or actually buying some sort of material to cover it with. i don't think the factory leather would work well.
