Distributor Question!

Can Highport SR20 run a Lowport distributor? I know theyre different but I wanted to know what symptoms would occur if this was done.

you have to wire it in and convert it to internal coil but it will work. you also may need to wire in the coil resistor. I have an extra resistor if you need it.

Try to find a highport distributor unless you are out of options, just another thing to go wrong

Yes - thou it is easier to run the proper distributor/wire harness/ecu combo.

its simple, just 8 or 10 wires and a resistor.

nothing crazy here.

Simple is relative. nothing is simple with wires for me b/c everything looks gray to me (well most colors)
