Rattling noise....
It Sounds Like the timing chain came loose, I havent had a chance to look at it. Any ideas? and its not the bit extension causing the noise.

Have you upgraded to the new tensioner? Is the upper chain guide still in the motor?

I have never heard that before and almost sounds like the chain is rubbing on something, like one of the guides is worn down.

When you rev it, I hear what sounds like an exhaust leak somewhere.

I agree, sounds like maybe the upper chain guide?

Also, like @Storm88000 said, it sounds like an exhaust leak also

Yeah, see I can't tell which sound OP is referring too - or maybe both? Certainly the other sound bothers me more as its more of a thud sound which implies mass behind something doing something it shouldn't - but when he revs it it sounds like when I forgot to torque down the 14mm bolts on my OBX header when I installed it on my 97 SE-R, I got in the car to start it up and didn't notice anything until I hit the gas and you hear the spspspspspspspspspspspsp sound
