Thread: Best place to buy mandrel bends for building headers?

I found a nice head flange to start with on ebay Link. I'm going to build a T3 manifold for my Holset HY35 that's going on a VE in the near future. I'm looking for 1-7/8 mild steel mandrel bends. most places are pretty pricey on them, but I found one place that sells header kits that seems reasonable. Link. I'll probably wind up ordering from them unless someone here knows of a better deal.

There are other suppliers I know which require $3K min purchase for insane rates that blow out any online price.

I need to find titanium bends with 35mm ID, only place I can find them is Alibaba

why titanium ? I could never find pre bent pieces unless it was from aircraft/aerospace companies, I just did piecuts 10-15* each cut, and not that easy to weld. Eventually re-purposed a bead blast cabinet to use as a argon box to prevent o2 getting into the weld.
