This is probably your problem. 12v is split from the power, it does not run through the driver windows switch to the others.

Take the proper steps to diagnose the problem BEFORE replacing parts. It seems that laziness and bad advice is running rampant on the forum. Do the right thing and become an expert on your car by researching and troubleshooting. Buy the right tools.

Disagree. Members of this forum have helped me thru about a dozen random issues that came up. buying a replacement switch does not seem lazy to me if you think your old one is broken.

plus if you think anyone is giving bad advice you're welcome to correct them

i appreciate the help but swapping out switches isn't being lazy, if you think a part or if a part is broken, the first thing that would come to my mind is swap it with something that works. but once again, i do appreciate the help.

And how do you learn how the circuits works if you are just replacing part? Gonna go out an replace the whole harness too. Oh I think my window regulator is bad, let me tear my whole door apart just to find out that is not the problem. Are you going to use the same "just swap parts" approach when the replacement parts are in the hundreds or thousands? Dont think so. You'll be right back here begging for information because you never cared to LEARN. You are creating bad habits for yourself. Diagnostic tools and service manuals were made for a reason, which is why I posted the wiring diagram, which you obviously never saw until I posted it. Do your thing though homie, replace your parts.

get off your high horse. i came in here asking for help not to have someone jump to conclusions when they don't know anything about me or the situation. i have seen/read the fsm for both my cars numerous times. i've tested wires/checked for breaks/checked fuses/tested motors and still nothing. i swapped the switch because i got one real cheap and swapped it just to see if that was the issue. so i will do my thing homie and replace parts as needed. thanks for the help!

His name is sparky and he's a fucking stallion, and you can bet I'm riding this mother to the end. You don't have to ask for direction when you carve your own path. Peace out switch swapper.
