Your clutch disc is bad. Exact same thing as mine. Pull the trans. Share pics of the disc.

If it goes in gear with the car off,but not running,I will guess clutch disc spring popped as mentioned above. Been down that road twice in the past.

Have you done a clutch yourself before?? Having it all done within 6 days is rather optimistic unless your nuts like me and work from 7pm-10am the next day. Trust me always estimate the time its going to take you to complete a semi-large job like a clutch swap and multiply it by like 4

I bought my P11 with a bad clutch a few weeks back on a Monday. Dropped the trans Tuesday and replaced the clutch, started driving it on Wednesday. Do it enough time and it becomes really easy to remember all the littel steps you have to take.

I really, REALLY, FUCKING HATE THAT. Seems like it happens way too easily. I have done it to at least 3 discs. My current b15 disk seems to be doing okay, next time I think I may weld reinforcements around the springs.

Me too. Really pisses me off. And this is the SECOND TIME it's happened to me. Second clutch disc that the JGY PP took out. Here was the first one about 2 years ago:

ARGhHHHhhhhhhhhh

oh and this first one was an ACT

Ever done this? (see link for full story with happy warranty ending)

Picture of my pathetic failed clutchnet disc. - SR20 Forum

I wonder if we both just drive like assholes? Though my most recent escapade with a clutch was with the one that was in my NX when I got it around 140k miles (I assume a stock replacement). It happened after coming off of the highway after a few hundred miles with no hard shifting or spirited driving of any sort, the spring popped out and wedged between the disk and flywheel causing a condition of "half clutch" sort of. I was able to adjust the cable to put enough grab on it to synchro shift all the way back (not my first time) I think I'm going to start a thread on the causes of clutch disc failure.
