Car wont go into any gear
Was driving tonight at a light in first I took off put it in second and then it poped out of gear and I coasted into a gas station. I have no gears at all, I can engage the clutch and hear some grinding and the throw out bearing slapping around. The clutch and pressure plate have under 10k miles on them. Any ideas I have to have the thing towed in the morning.

Is there a grinding noise with the clutch released and engaged? When you say you have "no gears". Do you mean they will not go into gear, will grind when going in gear, or will it slip into gear with no effort. Also, try to put it in gear with the clutch engaged.

sound like a bad bearing or clutch spring

Check the retainer clips that hold the throw out bearing in place

This! When I replaced the throwout bearing I forgot to put new pegs that hold it in place. I have new ones from greg V. I get no gears at all when I put it in gear. no slipping at all. Just nothing. Its a 2k sentra disc and pressure plate with under 10k miles it should not have went out. I think its the TO bearing. thanks all

If you can freely shift into any gear with the engine turned off, I'd say it's this, b/c I just went thru it, here's what my B15 disc looks like now:

You saying that the shifter wee will slip into gear, like you can feel the gate locking? That is what happened to my p11, but my disc exploded. Did you lock tight the bolts that hold in the pressure plate?

No slipping it just goes into gear freely and doesn't grab, my b15 disc has less than 10k miles on it. I have a stock sr20 and I don't beat on it so I don't know why the spring would pop out. Sounds like something is loose tho.

You don't have to beat on anything in the SR20 for it to break, especially anything to do with the transmission.

If your able to press down on the clutch pedal and it feels like it doesnt want to come back up or doesnt engage like it used to its the clutch bearing not properly seated on the fork. meaning the clips came out. with that being said it will not allow you to select a gear even tho your pressing down o the clutch.
