this is true they do test fit all of their clutches look at the pressure plate will see the mounting holes are rubbed and paint is gone

And I may be late to the party, but I wouldn't personally recommend an unsprung 4/6 puck "500HP" clutch for a low torque, "lightweight" VE.........worst off if you have a lightweight flywheel and keep breaking clutch cables

best clutch out there hands down try it out and you will see why. pedal is like butter compared to other clutches with less gripping power

Yep you and so many other people recommended it, and I know you know your stuff. Boostlee just likes trying to mess with me on the forum. I could post that the SR20DE is a 2.0 liter and he'd reply "it's actually 1998cc" or whatever it is. See how he put the word lightweight in quotes, like trying to make fun of it that I want a light car

I have a fx500 in my car. I will share soon how I like it. 18 years of owning a Sentra and never had a issues with the cable set up.

I aways keep a spare in the trunk!

I have driven/pwned the clutch in my turbo SE-R for almost 2 years (which I dd'ed for a few in DC traffic and such as well as used for several track days) and yes, I love the clutch, no doubt (if you didn't realize Alex, I bought the clutch 2 years ago as mentioned............), but downgrading to a DE with a lightweight flywheel with the FX500, the clutch just simply sucked to drive. Relearning wasn't a big deal, but I figured for a low torque application, the headache wasn't worth it. The pedal feel is not the issue, but the grabby nature of the 4 puck unsprung is simply not ideal. And with Storm breaking clutch cables, I have a feeling this clutch won't be doing him any favors. People have seem to negate the overall picture and just recommend what they "feel" is best, not what a little bit of thought would dictate.

But again, just my opinion. I am allowed to have it and no one has to care or listen

And as usual, people on this forum are never able to distinguish a little bit of advice with some thought behind it from trying to attack them (Storm, that's you). But zero fucks given

Think about it: A 500 HP non spring 4 puck clutch meant for holding 450+ FT lbs at the wheels for a turbo hi torque application for a 200 WHP/150+ lb torque VE.............Some of the logic is lost regardless of how good the clutch "feels"

"Zero fucks given" you didn't see/read about me starting to collect turbo parts for it

p.s. the "I just tell it like it is" and "I say what I mean" thing is realllllly played out on internet message boards.

@Storm88000 maybe I missed it, but you never mentioned in THIS thread about collecting turbo parts

Your thread title is "I hate our clutch cables - going hydraulic", you bitch about breaking clutch cables, etc. I made my recommendation on what YOU asked and your initial question on topic. I do not watch this forum like a hawk or watch everything you post, so if you mentioned it in a separate thread, it was NEVER mentioned here.

Fuck it, you know what, I will even bring up YOUR POST where you completely contradict your own statements

Meaning, no I don't think I'll ever go turbo with this, it's fast enough for me)

I will keep playing out the "zero fucks given" argument as long as you are not adept enough to realize I am trying to give you some advice

You really should read your own damn statements next time...............

$20 you break another shit cable and blame the clutch, because it sucks to drive

1) You give someone an honest to goodness opinion with my thoughts behind my statements and why I came to that conclusion
2) Answer the original question
3) Call out people for contradicting statements
4) Get ignored and called a troll....

I don't get it............ Next time I will hold your hands, tell you what you want to hear, follow the "trend" and play your best friend if it makes you feel any better

Ehhhhh, goodluck Storm (if you can see this). Come back with your honest unbiased opinion
