I was razzing you because you mention your 206WHP N/A VE in damn near 95% of the threads. It was a small joke, sir. I have no idea where anyone else but you were questioning I in this thread so you typing "we" was very off-putting.

Good thread, I was planning on going with the FX400 but seems most folks in this thread are recommending to go with the FX500.

fx400 is about double the price for less gripping power doesnt make sense to get that when the fx500 has the same pedal feel

I honestly don't- unless we are talking about VE's and bolt ons- I mention it sometimes but either way, its not like i'm proud of that, that's total shit compared to some of you guys making 400HP on pump..

And as far as the clutch goes, they are possibly overnighting it to me on Monday. Been calling and e-mailing Kspecracing all week. If I wasn't charged the moment I placed the order, or told it would be 8 days before I even got a tracking # I would have spent the extra $30 and gotten it on eBay. Shit is ridiculous. They should charge you when they process it to be shipped.

I saw that too, I looked at it and it was like $550, while the FX500 is $300-$330 ish.. makes no sense. weird. What amazes me is that my stock B15 disc held up 18 months with all the abuse on the track and street - they sure are strong for OEM. I'm fine with 1 1/2 years of it lasting considering how cheap it is.

@Storm88000 my clutch cable went out last week sunday, I have a A.C.T. pp with a b15 disc. Last sunday i took my sister out for lunch and i was leaving the pizza place
i heard a snapping noise when i pressed in the clutch pedal. I couldnt get into gear so i had to push the car with my sister inside of it to next block. Luckily my bro came to the rescue but i had trouble putting into gear found out a friend and i had to drop the tranny because the throwout bearing fell out of place .

That's the exact setup I had. ACT PP w/ B15 stock disc. What kind of power are you making?

Fx400 6 puck sprung on my 250+ whp setup. 3rd cable and lubed it this time, also Nissan OEM opposed to the last 2 parts store brands. I simply applied grease to the cable before install and worked it a bunch. 4 puck will chatter and is more for drag, super grip! Less streetable but doable. You'll be happier 6 puck on the street/daily.

My CM FX500 finally came in almost 2 weeks after I ordered it (and was charged)

Glad you got your clutch, after trying to supply some of the clutches for you guys at the rate THM had, it was near impossible. I ordered a few other clutches from CM and they notified me that the FX500 was on backorder. It was a bit weird as they had mentioned that they will soon be dropping someone from their dealers list for selling to THM...
