96 Knock sensor
OMG This is the biggest pain i had working on a car. The knock sensor bolt was on so tight it took me like 45 mins of trying to get it out. used the 12 box end and a pry bar on the starter to turn it loose Then the bolt is so long that it hit the hard coolant so i had to unbolt the coolant pipe. Putting the bolt back on took me like 15 min just to find the hole only using 2 fingers. Damn this sr20de knock sensor. But i got it Good luck to anyone trying this on a day when is 32F outside.

On my 95 se-r dirt hornet I just ended up cutting it and putting in some resistors. They go out about every 2 races so I think im gonna put it back on this year.

And "#/% the style connector that is on the knock sensor. Trying to get the metal pin to get out of the way when you can't see shit is sooo frustrating. When I pulled my DE, I ended up unbolting the knock sensor instead of unhooking the connector

Anyone got a tip on how to remove these with only fingers and not a screwdriver?
