Thread: Cheap 225-45-15 tires.

I just got a call from the company. I'd read some reviews and the only major complaint people seem to have with the company is that they've had orders canceled for miss-priced tires. I was worried they were going to hit me with that BS.

Turns out I forgot to put my street name on the order, so they were confirming that.



Wait a minute, they are calling back.


Yep, they are claiming it was an inventory mistake and they don't have those tires available anymore. I'm wondering if that's an excuse, or the truth. I'll be curious if soon the tire shows out of stock, or if they simply raise the price on them. Either way, I've had my order canceled.

I was hoping to find the 215/60/14 MT ET Streets ... but nope.

It's quite annoying how many sizes are rare or not produced. We need a boutique tire manufacturer.

That size exists, but they dont have it on simpletire.

The Toyo R888, or any tire?
Because I just bought 2 Dunlops for the BMW this morning, and I will be in the market for another 2 of undetermined brand very soon.

I will also want some R888s some time, but maybe not until next year or so.

I can still add them to my cart using the last link you sent, but I have a brand new set on the Miata, so I don't need any more, even if it weren't a pricing 'mistake', which they should have resolved by now.

Agreed. I'm very curious why it's still up there. Tempted to order it again and see what they say.

Well, this morning they are showing out of stock. Didn't take them too long in the greater scheme of things, but in this day and age on the Internet, 24 hours feel like an eternity.
