Thread: Cheap 225-45-15 tires.

Just giving folks a heads up. I don't know if this company is legit or not, but they have some real cheap tires. Some are half the price they normally would be.
Specifically, they have BFGoodrich g-Force Rival in 225-45-15 for $68 a tire (plus $16 shipping per tire). This price is nuts. They may have crazy deals on other tires too, just give it a look. It seems to be pretty random.

I will probably buy some myself. It seems too good to pass up. Or maybe too good to be true?

Edit: I ordered a set of 4 for $84 each shipped. I was planning on going with Toyo R888 for my next tire, but these were way too cheap to pass up.

It had occurred to me that the cheap ones may be cheap because they've been sitting on a shelf for 2 years or something, but at that price I'll take that chance.


Mods, if this thread belong in suspension or somewhere else, just move it for me. Maybe the auto-x section? Seems relevant to general folks though?

Ben if you got Rivals they havent been available long enough to be that old.I thought they just came to market like this time last year
Either way,I went to that link and they dont list the rivals in the 225/45-15.
Maybe you got the only set,because now it only shows toyos and NT-01 at 150/tire.

Did u order rivals? @BenFenner? The 225's are cheaper then 205's! That's insane.

I had to start a new search for it to come up and it worked. Tempted to get a set too but I rather have the r888.

That site appears to scour the tire world for wholesale deals and whatnot. They claim to sell every single brand and model of tire available. It would appear they are trying to do for tires what a lot of sites try to do for plane tickets if you follow me.

Before the supply ran out across the world, they were selling a Kumho Ecsta XS 295-35-17 for $95 a tire. That's normally a $240 tire.
(That's how I found the site. Looking for 295-35-17. It seems that Kumho tire was the only DOT tire in that size and they stopped production. Hopefully when their replacement comes out they will still carry that size. They are calling the new tire the Ecsta V720.)

@Keo I really wanted to go with the R888 as well, but this deal is smokin'. I would have waited to order those. I'm not really ready for tires yet. I wanted to finish out the life of these R-S2s but that might not happen.

Cool. I was planing on waiting till spring to order stickies. But that price is insane. May have to now more then later. Hopefully ur set comes soon. And then I'll prolly follow suit.
