Thread: Engine build question.

I have another det block with mains ..will I have issues if I use my old det crank from a different block? Planning on getting acl race bearings.

Any sr crank, except the gtir, will be a direct swap into any other sr block. The only thing you need to do is check the bearing surfaces of the crank to make sure they are within oem tolerances. If they are, then std size acls will be what you need. If the crank isn't in spec then you'll need to get it turned and use undersize bearings according to how much was taken off.
