200SX SE-R - IAT Sensor Circuit Code

I bought a B14 SE-R last year as a winter beater and it's been holding up great, but I just got around to swapping in the correct ECU to tackle the CELs. The car had like 14 codes because some idiot had installed an ECU out of a '98+ automatic car. Now, it just has one legitimate code for the IAT sensor circuit.

The car has been given "The Bro Treatment" including an Injen or faux-Injen air intake, so I'm having trouble figuring out if there is even a spot for an IAT on it. Does anybody know if this would be the connector for it? The wires are red and green. It also looks like the MAF is disconnected but I do not have a CEL code for that.

Update: What I thought was a loose MAF wire is actually the IAT connector.

The IAT sensor is connected to stock air intake box. Do you even have that still, could be on the box itself.

I don't have the intake box, unfortunately as the car came like this, but I could always just source a stock intake setup.

You can modify your intake or maf adapter to accept tje iat sensor. If you are too lazy to do that and still want to keep the aftermarket intake then just slip the sensor into the intake and run the wire out between the coupler and pipe. Just makebsure you remove the rubber and what not so nothing comes loose and flys into your engine.

I wonder if my B13 IAT would substitute for now. For some reason the IAT seems to be nonexistent currently in the B14. I assume that connector I pictured is for the IAT - I'll check the IAT in my currently-garaged B13 tomorrow and see if I can install that for now, using one of the methods you mentioned above. Thanks!

while you are at it you should position your MAF correctly. The writing on it should be verticle, so on your set up the pigtail should be facing the rear of the car.

oh and make sure the pigtail is not rubbing on your break line....it will rub through and case a leak in your break system.

Thank you! I have not seen a stock B14 SE-R's engine bay up close so your help is much appreciated. It's been confusing dealing with this car and its "modifications" - no major problems and I've already put thousands of miles on it, but it makes diagnosis like this tricky. The one thing I do like that they did was installing a couple of Prothane motor mounts.

IAT has NO affect on the drive ability or interaction w/the ECU. It's informational only. I'd just let it go, unless you're trying to get rid of a CEL. If you wire it up, simply ziptie it to anything, doesn't need to go into the intake.
