Just get a new cable

Last time I got one it was $19; a year and a half ago.

well if they are that cheap, ill probably do that, genuine nissan or aftermarket?

found it on that nissanpartszone.com website $29 bucks, here is the part number for anyone with an issue like mine looking to pick one up 25050-65Y02

MY 92 b13 has a clip or something missing from where the cable attaches to the back of the speedometer and if I hit hard enough bumps it falls out. sounds like your cable is broken internally just replace it.
