Keep in mind IACV Air Regulator is a 90sec idle raising timer, it's fairly useless and is not needed. I delete them all of the time.

It looks like this:

Here is how I "delete it":

Something to remember about charcoil canister line, usually they don't have a one way valve, which means you could be blowing boost into the canister/gas tank. I usually put a one way valve before the manifold, that way if it goes positive pressure the one way valve stops it.

After pondering what you said Vadim, if its not plugged in and or failing and stuck closed in either scenario, Won't that cause an idle issue???

LP- will she idle with your foot on the throttle? If so will she idle once warmed up?

If it's not plugged in, and is always open your car will always idle too high. This valve is a simple electrical valve, it starts open, but when you send electricity through it the valve starts closing, it takes it about 90 seconds to close. Once it's closed it's no longer giving extra air that the regular IACV doesn't know about.

If you remove the valve (or it gets stuck open) and don't block off the path, it will idle always high, since your adding extra air outside of the IACV's control.

Right...but if for some reason it's stuck closed at warm up?

Well I guess not if you can get away with blocking it.

I got the air regulator and it fixed the smoke issue and suffocating but now i have fuel building up in the first cylinder. Everything smells like gas even the oil dip stick.

Thanks for posting everyone

***** UPDATE: Injector 1 was bad replaced it and waiting for spark plugs to clean so i can reinstall and see how she runs.
