Any reason this wouldn't work? It seems to be for a coffee make lol.

To check the check valve, step on the brake pedal several times while the engine is off. It should pump up and be rock solid. If not, the valve is bad.

The old one is gone already. I tossed it when I was able to blow through both sides as if it was hollow.

I just blow in one side and suck on the other...simple. Just call autozone and tell them you need a check valve. No big deal.
