Coolant o ring (sr20de)replacement job info help.
As per title, notice a slight drip a couple of weeks ago,was not 100% sure on the location of leak though, however today had the car jacked up and it dripped more and notice it's coming from the metal pipe (the pipe with a o ring) bolted onto the back of the head, now looking at it today my question is,is it as easy as it looks to replace ? There's only one bolt holding the pipe at the end where the o ring is ,does the pipe simply lift off letting me to swap o rings,or do i need to loosen the pipe along the block also (hoping not to remove anything to access the other pipe bolts to block) ? I am hoping it's easy and quick to do as it's freezing here now.

The part number is 2104601B00 for reference to what i am on about.

Thanks.

Post a pic, I cannot recall what you are talking about. I have always bypassed the coolant running through the throttle body.

Yeah take a photo and open it up in MS paint and circle or draw an arrow to what you're talking about if it's hard to tell

well if you have the pipe out just use a pick or knife to pull off the old o-ring and then slap a new one on there and bolt it back up. i would probally end up using a little bit of silicone up near the flange where it meets up with the throttle body just for good measure.
