Thread: Junk in the trunk!!

So, my trunk is all kinds of messed up. You know the two "tortion" rods that run left and right that evens the weight out when opening and closing so the trunk movement is evenly distributed, well, my trunk is a bitch to get open (going up) and when I let go it slams closed. Anyone had to fix these before? What problems have you incurred with your trunk? Oh, and my release lever cable doesn't work either.

The torsion rods are easy to change. Just go to a Junkyard and get some used one. New ones are expensive. You just need a big plyer to remove and install.
