Thread: RB Into a B13/B14 Chasis

Hahahahah! Some of the responses have been rather comedic

A very interesting idea, but I have to agree with the majority here. The fact of the matter is it would take so much money and custom work, its not really worth it. I could maybe understand if you wanted to swap to rwd, but to try to convert the RB to fwd seems like WAY to much work. If you just want power, turbo the SR. If you want a "unique" engine swap that would actually work, look into the VQ30 (Maxima V6). Still a Nissan engine, still 6 cylinders, and already fwd setup.

1.No need of the vocabulary. 2.If I don't know well neither do you...Lets see have you build something of this kind (NO). 3.No one on here has 4.The only one that knows something is the person that did that B13 RWD (He can be a guide). 5.If them comments weren't negative then what were they, at the end it doesn't matter cause its been done yes with a RWD SR but what if to break that and do a RB 6.For further info just cause someone has a idea don't mean they lack of common sense. Cause if you want talk about common sense what sense are you making none. 7.Like I have been stating this is a informative thread for does that are interested in such of idea to share thoughts...etc. 8.I believe we are all grown ups here to be trying to insult each other. 9.Common sense like you claim don't have to do nothing with breaking limits...cause if it was for common sense people would be stuck on what they know rather than thinking out side the box...breaking limits is on someones will and dedication. Just like the guy of the RWD B13.(He had that idea and worked on it did search, etc, exactly what this thread is about to have some type of foundation.

All the above are great info guys. Like I been saying over and over again this is just a idea a concept a thread made to share thoughts and what ever knowledge anyone can bring for maybe on a future someone could have some where to start.

If you read is not just that idea. I also stated on my second post:
"Why can a RWD be converted to a FWD. Obviously lots of fabrication needs to be parts of the build well that's what this thread was started to take this concept and expanded to break it down into what can be done to do it. Since it has been done. Even if it means making the car RWD or even just convert the RWD engine to FWD."

and back again I'm not trying to do nothing this is just a informative thread. Where do I say that I'm doing this or where do I say that is on my plans.

Well hell, if it means converting the car to RWD then might as well go balls out...

What's the purpose of this thread? Are you looking for a roadmap, are you thinking out loud? If people reply with ideas, will you be able to implement them?

The crazier the swap idea, the more fabrication knowledge you'll need. That's it, that's the bottom line.

You need to make lots of sparks. My original reply stands:
