Well if you read what he said it sounds like he is trying to drop the rb into a fwd platform and keep it fwd.

I love the negativity of my family...rather than breaking limits we always creating more limits. I knew the thread was going to start somewhere on this line.

Now back to the topic like stated on the 1st post:

Meaning to give ideas to what may be needed to do such of project (Fabrications, mods, etc). This idea came up from the built that @White steve fro CT posted.
Also from the idea of @erikalizzetalanis of converting a FWD engine to use as RWD engine. (New Girl Here ..... Yes some of us like SR20 to )
So if a FWD engine can be converted as a RWD engine. Why can a RWD be converted to a FWD. Obviously lots of fabrication needs to be parts of the build well that's what this thread was started to take this concept and expanded to break it down into what can be done to do it. Since it has been done. Even if it means making the car RWD or even just convert the RWD engine to FWD.

@JakeB In no post anyone said that i would be a simple project. That's why its a informative thread for ideas on what can be done to create the idea.

@SE-Rawkus FYI: I don't smoke anymore or do other things that I used to do that would off got me into jail or killed. Thanks to the Lord for taking me out of the way that I was, cause if not who knows where I would be today. Cause it sure wouldn't be here chating with all of you who I consider my other family and the passion that we all have for our cars and engines.

If you also read bud, I never said that I was trying to drop the RB. Is a open thread to ideas for others or even I to breakdown what can be done to do such of project. Even if its converting to FWD or converting the car RWD like posted on my second post.

Discussions like this belong on NICOclub IMO but I'll take an honest crack... As far as I can tell it has never been done. None of the Nissan FWD transmissions were built for the RB series to my knowledge. Looks like This Thread confirms that there are no FWD trannies available. If you were to fab it up everything would have to be custom.

RB Block is somewhere around 31-32 inches long compared to the 26-27 inches of the SR block.

I bet your best bet would be to make a tube chassis front similar to this


Aside from that. I implore you to quietly bury this idea under a rock unless you have a shop with unlimited resources at your disposal...

^^^This is the type of things that the thread was created for to bring ideas of what can be done and what cannot. Even thou the cannot is just a limit anything can be possible with the right knowledge and of course $$$. Also @JakeB it can be done didn't you see the link that @White steve fro CT posted. I know is a RWD SR on the car but if a RWD SR could be done why limit our self just to that.

Also please people stop using the YOU since I'm not building or doing nothing this is just a informative thread to bring ideas. To whom ever one day wants to break the limits, rather than keep putting more limits.
