CV shaft?
Hello all, I need advice on what cv shaft to get. The one on advance auto online lists one as a direct fit, but there is a review from somebody that says it does not fit the SE-R model. apparently this person says it has to do with the LSD that the se-r has. I have a '95 200sx se-r with manual tranny.

Here is the cv shaft I am talking about and the review that says it won't fit:

Buy ToughOne New CV Axle Shaft Assembly NCV53515 at Advance Auto Parts

Can anybody verify this? Also, I am looking to replace the passenger side as well. If anybody can help out and point me in the right direction please do so! Both side cv shafts are shot on my car, and I don't want to get the wrong part.

Thanks in advance!

I was looking at NAPA online and they have remanufactured for a bit cheaper, but no reviews as to fitment:

any advice on those would help as well.

I ordered both my shafts from Rockauto and never had a problem. RockAuto Parts Catalog

No matter where you go it can be hit or miss. When buying a Re-Man - the big difference comes down to what core was returned and the level of quality control the re-builder has.

Best thing I can suggest is match your originals to what you get and BUY LOCAL so if you have a problem it can be fixed quickly. Last time I bought shafts it took 3 before I got the correct one - and they were all labeled with the same part number.

Good luck.
