Thread: Car starting problems

Okay, some when mi start up mi kar it takes 4 trys

First try click, click, click


Second try it starts to whine up very slowly


Third try it start to whine up faster, still sputtering [kinda]


and the forth try it starts up


is it a starter problem or battery?

and if you leave it unstarted for 1 day it won't start at all, so i'm leaning more towards battery, but the car trys to start more with each time i try to start it.

b4 i go by a starter or battery, I figure i'd ask u guys first

battery, make sure your grounds are all solid and not corroded. Also verify that the alternator is charging correctly. Once the car is running, check voltage off the alternator.
