Just came out there with 2 more gallons for the Maxima. At first I bought a gallon, and a quart, then it said $4.32. I was like, "No way, 99c a piece. Tehn I realized the quart was like 2 and change so I put it back and got another gallon. Man, I am stocking up, cause gas prices has got me on the ropes...

Unfortunately, my local Autozone wasn't having the fire sale on gallon jugs of oil.

They did have Mobil1 stuff on sale, though. I got five quarts of synthetic and a M-103 filter for $26, which isn't bad for that brand.

I also got one more $20+ charge on my Autozone card. Free $20 every five charges, or something like that.

No one in the stores I went to knew there was a sale. Only the store managers knew, and it was like pulling teeth to get them to be honest that there was one. Like its some weird club and you can only get the special prcie if you know the password. It was weird.

same as above.. my friend is an employee and didn't have any idea that this sale was going on....

if i was to print out a receipt of your guys' and take it to an autozone, would they give me the same pricing? or is every store different?

it all depends on the store. like we have a small non commercial store so we dont carry as much as the big ones so as to where they may keep the stuff....we get rid of it.

No dice here in El Paso. Went to two Autozones and neither had the sale. The salesman was actually surprised and said that he would have stocked up, himself, had the sale been here.

every store has different pricing
different districts sell more of certain items
so the prices are different

hell the prices of some hard parts are different from my store to the store 4 miles away
