Thread: OMG AUTOZONE has gallon(s) of oil for 99 cents!!!!!

it works in ny (not mobil oil) but the employees are buying them before they hit the shelves. i cant blame them , but i got 3 gallons that some one held down for me

A) I am not rich... in fact, I am not even on contract right now, so I don't even have income. So, with the little money I have, how would you explain this:


B) Then you have the receipt:

It's hard to see 'cause it hot in GA, and heat and thermal paper don't mix, but if you can read it it says "Total Dead Discount = $110.40". Hell, the helicoil cost more then all the oil combined.

C) The we have the one from the other day:

Much newer, so you can read it easy. Total saved was $60.00.

So I guess I was wrong... I didn't save $140... I have saved $170. My bad.

mine didn't have it but what can I expect from them when they cant figure out the OBD2 connection for my car.

Now it's removed, so ignorance won't spread, about simply REPORTING what a management team at your company, said to me, about supposed $0.99 gallons, of any brand oil here in NJ, or any state, offered through a nationally advertised ad. Bummer we don't get it like you, here.

But seriously, I did ask the store in Howell NJ. When I seen you post this I specifically asked about the .99 gallon, as if it might be cool, and they told me they didn't offer anything like that. Hell I ran down there smiling like a dummy.

Maybe they were hording the store supply, or something because I would have used it for my DD. I guess I can see why the other dude thought I was dissing you, and It's my fault for not re-reading this thread prettywhite.

I'm due for the final spine surgery soon and the back nerve shot they did last week is wearing off with a sickness. I've been this way for seven months, while they play games at the Ins. co. I'm the first one to say, it's my fault for not understanding why this misunderstanding got so goofed up.

You can't imagine what it's like to mis-interpret something, as bad as when your back isn't attached to your lower half correctly. If I mis understood my remarks as distracting or spiteful, I really didn't get it the way others did.

I really did buy the oil, I swear! I'll move along for a few weeks until they drill my back. My apologies guys for the drama.
