Thread: Working on a New project ...... 93 EG civic SR20de + t OPINIONS Anyone :)

So a few months ago my Honda Civic was stolen, 4 days later it was recovered my ME yes not cops lol unfortunately it was stripped clean basically like this





so out of a tragedy came a new idea

all my cars are SR20's my sentra, my 200sx, my miata, ect. so why not my Honda Shell lol...

so we finished stripping it clean wires and all

and have been Shopping through the past few months

Harnesses, Engine, Transmission, ect.
and began fabricating mounts and everything needed to mount it up

shes still a work in progress but most is cosmetic now

she started up perfectly



10-14-2013 removed everything from the engine bay prepped and painted



10-15-13 began to put the engine back in



10-19-13 engine went back in after the engine bay cured for a few days

That's actually an awesome way to make the best of a awful situation. I'm serious, it's kind of like, inspiring. Your car got jacked, the jackals took everything and left you with a shell and instead of letting it beat you, you're making trying to make good out of it.

I know of only 4 people who have had their cars stolen, as in personally know them.

Every single one was a Civic, with some kinda mods (usually lowered). One guy came to one of my shows in a semi sketchy area and came out and his car was gone. Turbo and everything.

hopefully it wont be, one things for sure it will be chained down in my back yard with another 3 cars in the way when its not in use lol..

my civic rarely left my house, the day before it was stolen i took it down (Sunday) to Import Face OFF Baytown later on in the day I put it on the DYNO and then took it back home. Next day i had to take it to work since i had broken a rocker arm in my 200sx racing on (Saturday) so i had no choice, parked it in the garage near Galleria 7am, saw it during lunch around noon and again at 3:30. walked out to leave at 4 and it was gone

i looked around for hours but nothing, she was gone

The set up im going for right now is the same one i currently use on my 200sx
who was doing 305 hp & 315 torque @ 13 psi on a 18g

only difference is going to be forged pistons lower compression and a larger turbo @ 18-20 psi
and a few hundred pounds less than my 200sx
