The flash will bait them everytime. I know that the B13 is not a typically stolen car, but still I've kept it as plain looking as possible. No stickers, small flat black wheels, not even a spoiler. only thing that gives it away is the big exhaust tip which I would like to cut off but don't want to go thru the hassle.

Was the turbo attached to the car?

Um.. not sure what that means.. it was a custom kit of course, and I'd assume it was in there pretty good (LOL) - don't know if your joking or not, I have zero experience with turbos.

I've never understood why Hondas are stolen so often. I know they're good cars, hell I had a '95 GSR Integra for a few years simultaneously with my second B13 SE-R, and STILL preferred driving the SE-R. Sewing machines just don't do it for me.

There's only one conclusion, Honda thieves are the same guys who eat at MacDonald's simply because they've never had a Wendy's burger.

Civics (and Hondas in general) with mods, especially flashy ones, are targets in general, by both good and bad guys. Cops and thieves. I've seen a Civic race a Mustang GT and the cop only pulled over the Civic, even though the Mustang kicked it's ass and was doing at least 100 when they passed the speed trap, Civic was probably at 85.

yeah it happens, i used to get pulled over for for no reason when i drove the civic luckily i was then let go when the cop realized i was a girl lol.... he'd then bull shit about oh my bad i thought i saw your windshield was broken my mistake

Wow. One time this girl was driving and got pulled (doing 70 in 45) and I was in the passenger seat and when the cop came over and was like "I paced you doing 70mph for awhile" I told her she was a "damned idiot and deserved a ticket" - in kind of a mean tone. So he had her step out of the car, as she was crying, he gave her a hug and sent us on our way!!

What he didn't know is, it was all an act. I knew she was going fast. I figured 75 or 80, and I had to think fast. We were just coming home late at night trying to make good time. So I said "lets just make it seem I'm being really mean to you and see if the (male) cop feels bad and lets us go" - well it worked. lol.

Called diversion. You can get out tickets by asking them questions. Another good tactic is, when they say do you know how fast you were going? Say you don't know, and they will usually say "do you know what the speed limit is?" What you do is say that you think it is LOWER than what you know it actually is. So if it's 55MPH limit, say you think it's 45MPH. Most people will say they thought it was higher. By saying you thought it was lower it shows them some sort of honesty, even though its trickery. Ahh yes I think a lot about this.
