Thread: Ultra Racing braces....any interest in a group buy?

So I am trying to buy a set of fender braces for my B13 .
I have a pair (made by Overkill)on one of my cars,and the difference is amazing to stiffen our wet-noodle chassis up.
Since nobody on the forum is still making these,I am gonna have to go with the ones made by Ultra Racing.These are much beefier,and nicer looking(even though you cant see them)
They also make swaybars,and Front strut tower braces for our cars(B13 and B14 for sure)
I havent seen much feedback here about these,but here is the website.

I talked to a US dealer today about these and asked him if he would be interested in doing a group buy for us.
Regardless,I am gonna get a pair and write a review,but I wanted to see how much interest there is here.
Maybe we can all save a few bucks,and introduce a good vendor to our community at the same time.

The price of the fender braces are normally about 190 shipped from ebay or wherever. I dont know how much (if any) discounts will be if we do a group buy at this time.
This is the "testing Waters" thread to see if anyone else but me is interested.I will have to have the group buy approved by the forum staff,but this is the first step.

I'm interested in all B13 braces.

I made a pair... should post pics. Not as pretty as those but they will get the job done.

Don't mean to be a threadjacker, but here are a couple pics of the ones I've made from scratch:




Mounted options would either be a weld-in plate with threaded holes for M8 bolts (what I'd recommend) or through bolts that would sit next to the top of the shocks on the inside of the shock tower

wouldnt it be more ethical to have a forum member make these and sell them then funnel your funds to an overseas manufacture when we are here in the united states..... Ill make them if yall wana do a group buy.....

well its a simple design, it looks like a triangle with a center brace and plates with holes for bolts. Im goign to be ordering a decent amount of DOM tubing to buid something for my business. It would use the same size tubing thus i could order it in bulk and assemble it for the group buy. i could even powder coat them if rustolium isnt good enough .
