AICV valve on custom manifold?
Hey,
Does anyone know how the AICV is exactly routed? I want to incorporate it into a custom manifold. When looking at the stock manifold it looks like the hose coming from the intake pipe enters the IM via a closed-off pathway(no vacuum) that then leads to the AICV valve and then the AICV valve connects into the plenum of the manifold.
So you'd have:
intake pipe -> hose -> manifold closed path -> AICV -> Plenum.
So to connect it, I'm thinking of just connecting the hose from the intake piping directly to the AICV, and then have the other end of the AICV going to the manifold. I didn't know if there's a restrictor or something else going on in the manifold or I'm missing something. That hose is also going to see full boost. Just wondering if this is the right way to do it.
Thanks!
